EVOS aims to Evolve Fast Food - The creative and health conscious founders of EVOS Dino Lambridis, Alkis Crassas, and Michael Jeffers set out to “remake fast food on our own terms” in 1994. Mindful of the unhealthy ingredients, inhumane processes used in produce production and the livestock industry, and ill effects of waste on the environment, EVOS was created to satisfy the need for a healthier fast food option in the oversaturated and rather uniform fast food industry today.

The founders were craving a burger, fries and shake, but wanted the food made with healthier ingredients, what they call a “taste and health marriage”. Taste is most assuredly not sacrificed by preparing natural foods in a healthy way, and EVOS will prove that with each visit you make to their stores. Today with locations in Florida, Nevada and North Carolina, and with others opening up in California, Arizona and Georgia, anyone can enjoy the delicious and guilt-free brainchild that is EVOS.

Some background information on today’s fast food chains includes the fact that most animals are being raised with antibiotics, hormones, and other drugs that are unhealthy for them, and in turn unhealthy for consumption-from the meat to the milk not to mention inhumane. The hormones and drugs are used in attempts to raise larger animals at a faster rate to maximize profits, which is inhumane to the animals. Antibiotics are administered to animals that are not sick. Field Greens in the salads at EVOS are organic and fresh, free of pesticides and chemicals. Real fruit juice is blended with fresh organic milk for a healthier delicious shake like mama used to make!

EVOS prepares all of their hot food in specialized air-baking ovens, and do not even have a grill! Employee SPOTLIGHT - Ross Ragona is perfectly tailored to fill his position as Project Manager/Customer Service Representative for Pinnacle Hospitality Systems. Ross takes pride in his career, and when asked what aspect he found the most challenging his reply mirrored what he found most rewarding,

“The challenges lie in keeping up with all of my continuing education. In order to remain up to speed on the latest product software and features and implement them into our new and existing accounts, I need to learn continuously.”

An outstanding fit, seeing as how when Ross was asked what he enjoys the most about his position his reply was similar,

“I like the variety of challenges each day presents, no two days are alike. I find solving restaurant issues and providing the customer service that they count on extremely gratifying.”

Originally from Rochester, NY, Ross has been a Florida resident since 1990, and employed with Pinnacle Hospitality Systems since March of 1999. You can trust that Ross knows what restaurants are looking for when they implement point of sale systems because prior to working for Pinnacle, he was a manager at The Crab house in Boca Raton.

In his spare time Ross loves to travel and is an avid Buffalo’s fan. Ross mentioned that he is both a sports spectator and participant when he has the time. When asked which sports in specific, he replied,

“Just about any sport I will watch and play.”
