Splitsville concept to expand

The Millennium Management Group is thrilled about the pending opening of its two newest Splitsville locations-Miami, Florida on Nov. 1st and Dallas, Texas in December of 2008.  The Tampa-based Millennium Management Group also owns Stumps Supper Club, Tinatapas, and Howl at the Moon in Channelside.

The original bowling/bar/restaurant concept chain showcases unique features such as twelve bowling lanes, billiards, multiple bars and a full service dining lounge.  The center is broken up into three main areas, each with 4 bowling lanes, pool tables and lounge areas, the dining area is separated.  This is ideal for private parties or companies having simultaneous private parties who wish to remain in their own group, or a great night out with friends and family.

The Miami Splitsville is to be located off U.S. 1 in South Miami’s Shops off Sunset Place and will feature roughly 25,000 square feet at the cost of $5.2 million dollars.  The Dallas Splitsville will have a similar price tag with slightly more square footage, approximately 28,000, and will be located in North Park Mall in Highlands Park.  The Channel side Splitsville opened for business in December of 2003 and boasted 27,000 square feet.  Millennium Management Group is also reportedly looking into opening a Splitsville in Orlando, Florida and Austin, Texas.

Kobe Steakhouse and Duffy’s Sports Grill deploy iControl feature

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar and Duffy’s Sports Grill, both of Florida, have opted to incorporate iControl technology into their existing restaurant POS systems in their chain restaurants.  In the hospitality industry a point of sale system is a necessity, and technological advancement enhances these systems regularly.  A recent development is the iControl feature interfaced with POSitouch point of sale systems.  The iControl feature successfully integrates the POSitouch system with sales and payables data and imports accounting packages.  The valuable iControl also validates the data to ensure the vendors exist and that there is no duplication of data.  The iControl feature also makes certain the account numbers match and that all information lines up perfectly.

Essentially iControl enables chain restaurants to consolidate crucial financial information, provide online management alerts, chain-wide labor management, food cost solutions, menu management and more for multiple chain restaurant locations simultaneously.  Interfacing  iControl with POSitouch point of sale systems gives restaurant management operators the tools required to maintain complete control over store operations, at every chain location.

The management alerts are designed to save valuable time for restaurant management teams.  The alerts notify management of voids and comps and can be viewed in detail online with all associated information including the check level.  Management corrections can be made immediately rather than days or weeks later, creating an efficient business operation and model.  This loss prevention tool is invaluable in improving bottom line profits and is easy to use and seamlessly integrated into the POSitouch point of sale system.
