Pinnacle Introduces the POSitouch Wireless Hand Held Terminal!

Pinnacle is very excited to introduce the POSitouch Wireless Hand Held Terminal, the newest addition to the existing line of hospitality system products. With this mobile terminal, servers can take and process orders at the table, allowing customers and managers alike to enjoy quicker and more accurate ordering.

With the POSitouch Wireless Hand Held Terminal, the bottleneck effect caused by servers waiting to use stationary terminals is eliminated.  The terminal is especially useful for cocktail and outdoor patio servers, allowing for multiple order processing at once. Servers no longer need to return to the bar in between orders.  The new terminal quickly and easily processes credit card payments with a built-in magnetic card reader (which also has the ability to read manager cards).  Service time is further shortened by the ability of the server to enter check discounts on the terminal without a manager.

One of the best features of the new Hand Held Terminal is that there is no need for additional training, as the mobile terminal contains the same functions and software interface as the regular-sized POSitouch terminal. To own and operate this new product, there are just a few small investments necessary:

  • Purchase of POSitouch software license
  • Wireless router (communicates with terminals to send information)
  • Antennae and battery charging station for each terminal

The Hand Held comes with an easy to use stylus pen, an LCD touch screen that automatically adjusts to whether the user is right or left-handed and a fully-charged battery that lasts up to 6 hours. Optional add-on enhancements include the mobile printer accessory, useful for printing receipts and processing credit card payments for a fully-mobile operation.

Pinnacle continues to hold their spot as a leader in the hospitality point of sale industry. With this latest addition to their product line, the user need only enter once and it’s on its way, no wasted steps! The POSitouch Wireless Hand Held Terminal is perfect for pool decks, patio bars, bowling centers and many more types of hospitality businesses.
