Vinyl & Kai was created by the man who opened Tequila Chicas and also served as food and beverage director at the Clevelander on Ocean Drive in South Beach, Miami. New Zealand native Chris Barron came up with the name Vinyl & Kai to express his love of music and food – Vinyl for music records, and Kai being the New Zealand native word for food. Restaurateur and club owner Chris Barron gave the place a laid back vibe and an amazing menu, emphasizing huge flavor at a small price.
Located on Washington Avenue, Vinyl & Kai provides an intimate and inviting space in a casual atmosphere that combines comfort dining and friendly service. It has become a local favorite in the South Beach neighborhood, offering a full menu and a bar menu of cocktails, frozen drinks, margaritas and martinis.
Vinyl covers from bands like The Killers and Dashboard Confessional hang from the red and black walls. Guests can play pool by the bar, relax outside, watch a sports game on one of the four massive projector screens, sing karaoke or enjoy live music on a special event night. “The music is loud, the people are fun, and the service is great,” says the Miami NewTimes.
Vinyl & Kai prides itself in providing excellent customer service, thanks to the help of its POSitouch restaurant POS systems. The restaurant management POS lets staff process credit cards, start and close bar tabs and split multiple checks quickly and efficiently. The owner can rest assured that he is maximizing the revenue of his establishment by tracking overhead costs and pulling detailed sales reports on his POSitouch restaurant POS. Pinnacle Hospitality Systems is the sole provider of POSitouch in Florida, helping to automate the hospitality industry.
