Though they opened their first Pizzeria in central Florida in 1987, Flipper’s was no exception to the rule when it came to competition. In 1995, a new chef was hired to expand the menu by adding “delicious, authentic and progressive recipes.” Flipper’s uses only the freshest ingredients in their hand-tossed brick oven and specialty pizzas, like the Steak Diablo with fiery chipotle sauce and sirloin steak. Ben Richardson recently sat down to discuss his experience with his new restaurant POS system for the Pinnacle YouTube channel. Richardson stresses his appreciation for the superior customer service he enjoys, including on-site support. Never having used a point of sale system before, Richardson notes that the accountability provided over the use of handwritten tickets has made Flipper’s easier to manage. POSitouch has enabled the pizzeria to better compete, ensuring accuracy with customer orders which creates higher customer satisfaction overall. Flipper’s can now offer online ordering, and managers can control labor costs and track loss prevention far better than before. Richardson even notes that he loves that managers are able to go home to their families earlier thanks to the ease of collecting and analyzing a host of valuable information.
