Easy EMV Technology

  • February 17, 2017

In our latest video, we explain the different features of PayMyTab, an EMV system with solutions to the typical problems of charge backs and length payment processes.

As discussed in the video, this system offers a full guest CRM system with wireless tablets for customers to pay on. You can turn tables quicker by saving time that the waiter and customers would usually have spent waiting for the next part in the payment process. Your waiter can get back to waiting on other tables, while the application walks customers through the payment process. Customers can pay with credit, debit, and chip-enabled cards, as well as their own smartphones through the mobile payment application. Customers can easily split checks, get receipts emailed to them, and select different percent tips to be added to the check. The waiter can move on to assisting other tables and customers can leave as soon as they pay, instead of trying to wave down the waiter again.

What we especially like about this EMV system is that it completely eliminates charge backs, saving our customers profits. The credit card never leaves the customer's hand, which relieves restaurants of all EMV liabilities. We also like that the system captures email information for customers as part of the payment process. These emails and purchase histories are saved in the Diner IQ system and allow you to sort through different customers for marketing purposes. You can email customers who came in for sports events about the new Monday game night special, or invite families in kid events and deals. The marketing analytics open up a range of opportunities for you as a business owner to better connect with regulars and newcomers alike.
